How this is scored

The ratio follows the WCAG 2 formula: each colour gets a brightness from 0 (black) to 1 (white), and the ratio is the lighter brightness plus 0.05 divided by the darker plus 0.05. It runs from 1 : 1 (same colour) to 21 : 1 (black on white).

Large text means 18 point and up, or 14 point and up in bold. The ratio is shown to two decimals, but a near-miss is never rounded up onto a pass line, so 4.499 reads as 4.49 and fails the 4.5 line.

This checks the numbers only. It does not judge font, spacing or how a screen is lit. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or kept.
